Administrative Bishop

Dear Partner in Ministry:

May the fantastic awareness of His presence brighten your every day throughout this new year!

As we enter into the uncharted course of 2007, I am reminded of the words of my saintly mother, "Do not fear tomorrow, God is already there!" We do not know what tomorrow holds, but we do know who holds the future and He has it in His hand and everything is under control! Therefore, we seek Him and follow Him! As we enter an entire year of Fasting and Prayer across the region, we do so with confidence and trust that greater things are yet ahead. Our desire is to once again make our churches "Houses of Prayer".

William Carr Peel in his book "In this Quiet Place" states, "Prayer is not a reward we deserve but a privilege given by God. It is His gift to us, not our gift to Him. There is no doubt about God's unwavering love for His Children. He wants to hear from us not because we are deserving, but because it simply pleases Him to do so." Pastors I am calling upon you to help lead our people into a fresh and conscientious renewal of prayer in their lives throughout this year.

Please note the weekly prayer schedules and be sure that your church fulfills the time assigned. All pastors, especially in the Milford and Cambridge areas please note the PRAYER ADVANCE planned for these locations on Friday night, January 26 and Saturday, January 27. These will be the only PRAYER ADVANCES on the Eastern shore planned for 2007. I am counting on the participation of you and your people. These meetings will be facilitated by Pastor Sam Abbott of the South Lake Worship Center Church of God in Hobart, Indiana. The state team will also be present and most importantly God will be present. The Friday night session will be from 7:00 pm until midnight and the Saturday session will be from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm with a lunch break. These will be fast paced, power packed, life transforming times. I will be looking for every minister and a host of laity at each meeting.

I am excited about what God has in store for the Delmarva-DC region and stand on the tip toes of expectancy. Remember as we enter this new year one of the best keys to success in any endeavor is to PLAN AHEAD AND FOLLOW THROUGH, FOLLOW THROUGH, FOLLOW THROUGH!

Together we can accomplish so much! We are off to a great start. Have a fantastic year in Him. You are in my daily prayer.
Your pastor,

Ron Martin
